Let me totally honest with you the main reason I bought the Quad was to have a bit of fun. But it was also a good way to get some nice cut away shots or some different shots for my videos. So I wanted one with the ability to have a full 1080 HD camera or one that could carry my GoPro. I also wanted to have that stable shot so it needed to have a gimbal for the camera.

Now I am not the greatest drone pilot so while not necessary it was nice that it also has the auto take off and land as well as home.

So I purchased the Xiro Xplorer V comes with a built in Camera Full HD 1080p and Gimbal. I can also buy another gimbal for it to take my GoPro if i want to.

• The Camera does Full HD 1080p @ 30fps or 720p @ 60 fps
• 3 Axis stabilised Camera Gimbal for smooth Aerial Recording.
• Other features is it has three modes, 1, through to 3. 1 being beginner mode and 3 being advanced. 1 is a little more sluggish but you get you very stable clean shots.
• Auto return to home.
• 25 minutes of flight time.
• It does have a limited ceiling height of about 120m (393f) and a range of 600m (1968f) under NZ law you must have a visual on the drone at all times. I start to struggle seeing it when it is about 400m (1312f) out so I have no issue with that all.
• Can connect to smart phone or Pad and has direct visual feed and other.
