The Logo and Slogan

Congratulations on finding this Easter Egg

The Slogan
Riddle me this, riddle me that. Most people will not get the slogan, and instantly think, I just forgot the apostrophe. But if you look closer there is no comma or full stop either, there is no grammar. The slogan is not “grammatically correct”, because it is actually “grammar less” meaning it is clean slate and open for your interpretation.

“Lets go make something” is a slight play on the English language, ie; my other half lets me go to my shop… she “Lets go.” so it is “Lets go. Make something.” Whilst it is also saying “Let us”, or “Let’s” you and me “go make something” via youtube.

Because of this, you can not have it saying both sentences with the same grammarso the slogan is in effect “grammar less” and is left to you to precieve it as you wish.

Most people a will see it as “Let’s go make something.” or even “Let’s go, make something.” But you could William Shanter it, if you so desired “Let’s, go, make, something… ?!?” Or Yoda speak it “Go make something, let us.” You can make it a question or a statement or even add to it as there is no full stop, so it may mean there is more.

While my slogan is grammar-less once you add your grammar to it, it becomes your slogan. So another words, “Make something of our slogan… ” Have fun and be creative with it.

WWW
Obviously the WWW is short for “Wacky Wood Works” and is done in a rickety pallet wood looking font with holes, because I am wacky and not a great woodworker… yet.

Saw Blade
The saw blade is a blade from a circular saw or table saw. Part of the blade is half of the Yin and Yang and you as the operator represent the other half. Be at peace and keep your mind on the job.

Web site
The website is incorporated in to the logo as part of the marketing.

Colours
Whilst not truly representative, the yellow and the brown represent the spectrum of the colours of various woods from the light to the darker

The shading
The drop shadow whilst is a cool effect to give depth on a image in this case it also represents the dust from the blade…

So far…
