For drilling, grinding and polishing fine sanding. Can do engraving on softer metal like aluminum, steel, & tin. Can also cut, burnish and drill has flexi hose a for ease of use.
It can take the Dremel components as well but not 100% sure it use all the accessories . I will be using for a lot of finer work. I was considering the Dremel but the price difference quickly made my mind up for the amount of use I will be using it.

While the tool still works I started to notice the chuck started to not grip or tighten they way it use to. This is purely because of wear and tear. I have have now purchased a Dremel 4000. I can get another flexi hose for my old rotary tool which I may get later on.
So which one do I prefer. While I have not had the Dremel that long, I do prefer the Dremel, there is less vibration especially flexi hose, it also means that it guarantee’s that I can use all the Dremel parts and accessories. I currently use both as one will have a cutting disc, the other might have a buffing or sanding drum.
