Carbatec CTEX-21CEC Scroll Saw.

So I originally ordered the Excalibur scroll saw because DeWalt don’t import their scroll saws into New Zealand and to do this myself would cost a lot more, while you can get them it was to much of a hassle for little ole me. So I decided to go with General International Scroll Saws or commonly known as Excalibur. I found Carbatec that imported under the General International brand… but doesn’t call them Excalibur… This was no issue… Fast forward 6 months…

The company in Australia that has the General International rights to Excalibur Scroll Saw in Australia and New Zealand does not ship to New Zealand. Which in my mind, then they should loose the rights to New Zealand which will open it up for another company.

Anyway Carbatec (NZ) approached General International and said what gives we want to import the Excalibur… General International in turn rebranded an altered a few placement switches and fuse etc to avoid their own copyright… I mean please…

Anyhow the Excalibur rep has said rest assured it is Excalibur… lol
