A thermo-electric eco fan,

A thermo-electric eco fan, made from a couple of computer heat sinks, a motor out of an old shaver and a toy propeller prop and the important part the Peltier converter element.  It does require a heat source to heat one side of the Peltier and the other side to be cooled.

There is no external power source connected to it other than the Peltier. I am using the heat gun as the heat source to heat the under side of the Peltier. Normally it will sit on the fire place and that will be the heat source and the fan will slowly circulate the air around the room. Which is what th project is intended for.

I will be honest I did not make this, a friend (and work mate) made it at work, while I was going to help him, actual work got in the road and I got too busy to help him make it.

Cost in total to make them is about $15-$20 each. But this is only because we scored some of the parts  and materials for free
